IMC Rating
Truman Avitation Ltd is pleased to offer a properly structured and well organised IMC Rating course. Our highly experienced Instrument qualification Flight Instructors, all of whom hold the prestigious Multi-Engine Instrument Rating qualification themselves, will aim to get you through the course in the CAA minimum of 15 hours flying training, before undertaking your skills test with our 'in-house' CAA approved Flight Examiner.
Nottingham City Airport is situated very close to East Midlands & Doncaster Sheffield Class 'D' Controlled Airspace airports, ideal for 'proper' instrument approach training. For the 'general handling' flight exercises 'just on instruments' we have access to Class 'G' Airspace. This combination makes best use of airborne flight time, ensuring maximum value for money.
