The U.K. IMC rating provides pilots with the enviable chance to obtain a practical and affordable instrument qualification. Knowing that you have the skills to make the decisions and fly safely in deteriorating weather provides an undeniable safety advantage to any flight.
With the EASA licensing changeover now taking place in July 2012, you have until the summer to obtain an IMC rating. The latest proposals suggest that existing holders will be able to continue to use their privileges after the switchover, but no new ratings will be issued after July 2012. Now is an excellent time to start your training. Weʼre also making it more affordable for you to train, with all IMC training rates now significantly reduced.
All our IMC training is provided by experienced instructors, all of whom hold a Multi-Engine Instrument Rating. Their experience allows you to get the most out of your course.
Truman Aviation is also ideally located in the Midlands, with access to numerous local approaches and navigation aids for training. We are also able to offer the IMC ground and flight examinations in-house.
For pilots wishing to join us just for their IMC training, we can arrange local accommodation and hospitality.
